Glashutte Seventies ‘X’ Chronograph Limited 40x40mm Watch

This automatic watch recalls the design classics of the Seventies: dynamic lines and gentle curves lend this model an unmistakable retro-modern character. The stainless steel case is polished/satin-brushed and measures 40 x 40 mm in diameter. Four strap options are available for this striking timepiece: brown calfskin, blue Louisiana alligator leather, black rubber or a cool stainless steel bracelet.

This sporty timepiece with column wheel switch combines the most important chronograph functions in a well-balanced watch: short-time measurement with stop second, flyback function, 30-minute counter and numerical 12-hour display, power reserve indication and our signature Panorama Date. The power reserve indicator is subtly integrated within the small seconds display.

The blue dial lends this chronograph freshness and depth. The dial blank is first given a delicate sunray finish before taking on its deep blue hue in a galvanization process. The rhodium-plated indexes and hands coated with Super-LumiNova® are carefully applied by hand. The date display and the 12-hour counter are colour-matched and feature white numerals against a blue ground.

Ticking reliably inside this stylish chronograph is the manufactory’s 37-02 automatic winding movement, which is crafted, decorated and regulated by hand. Its hypnotic motions and finishes are easily admired through the sapphire crystal case back. Watch fans will love the technical features of this powerhouse: up to 70 hours of power reserve combined with water resistance up to 10 bar.
