Contact UsIn 1968, LONGINES launched the Ultra-Chron Diver, the first dive watch equipped with high-frequency movement. At the time, LONGINES had already established itself as a pioneer in high-frequency technology. As early as 1910, the winged hourglass brand created the first high-frequency timekeeping device capable of measuring 1/10th of a second.
In 1959, LONGINES developed the first high-beat movement for a wristwatch, an observatory chronometer that set new records in terms of accuracy. The new Ultra-Chron is inspired by the aesthetic codes and professional diving features of the 1968 model. These chronometer-certified watches are powered by an exclusive LONGINES calibre equipped with a silicon balance spring and resistant to magnetic fields.
The watch, with its precise Calibre L836, features a striking case that artfully combines the lightweight strength of titanium and the dynamic appeal of carbon, showcasing a modern yet sophisticated design. It is fitted with a durable black nylon strap that offers both comfort and resilience, secured by a precision-engineered titanium pin buckle that adds an extra touch of elegance. This timepiece is remarkably water-resistant up to 30 bar, making it an excellent choice for those who enjoy aquatic adventures.
The anthracite dial is a standout feature, adorned with meticulously applied index hour markers and PVD Grey polished hands that glide over the surface, enhanced by Swiss Super-LumiNova® for excellent visibility, day or night. With a bold diameter of 43 mm, this watch is not just a functional accessory; it’s a statement of style and innovation.
