Notably, the pare-chute at 4 o’clock, an innovative Breguet invention, safeguards the balance wheel pivots from impact, serving as a precursor to modern shock protection mechanisms like the “Incabloc”.
Encased in 18K white gold with a sapphire caseback, the watch features a captivating blue off-centred dial made of gold, hand-engraved with a rose engine. The dark grey self-winding movement powers the retrograde seconds’ complication, while the watch is complemented by an alligator strap and offers water resistance up to 3 bar (30m).
