Discover the Glashutte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date Watermelon Dial watch.
The distinctive 40 x 40 mm stainless steel case with rounded corners is our Seventies line's signature feature. It lends this collection an elegant and unmistakably vintage character. This edition has two strap options, limited to 100 pieces: black rubber or sporty stainless steel. The mechanical movement’s fascinating mechanics and refined decorative finishes can be easily admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
This chronograph features a readily visible column wheel switch and exceptionally robust construction. Glashütte Original’s signature Panorama Date and the 12-hour counter are colour-matched and present white numerals against a black ground. They are complemented by a small second display with a power reserve indicator, a 30-minute counter and the stop second, which requires only one push to reset and restart, thanks to the flyback function.
This year, our limited editions shine in particularly vibrant colours. The hand-made dial of this model flaunts a summery shade – “Watermelon.” This spirited coral-red hue is a real eye-catcher and creates instant good vibes with every glance at your wrist. The dial is elaborately crafted in-house and features a velvety finish, making this bold colour easy to wear with a wide range of outfits for different occasions.
Although this chronograph’s looks make it a child of the Seventies, there’s a state-of-the-art automatic movement inside. The manufactory movement calibre 37-02 provides not just an impressive 70-hour power reserve; it also features refined decorative finishing: the edges are bevelled and polished, the tiny screws polished and blued. The characteristic three-quarter plate, the balance cock and the skeletonized rotor are all adorned with a refined Glashütte stripe finish.
