Now in its 24th year, the Gala brought together philanthropic families, business leaders, and passionate supporters for an evening filled with joy, tradition, and purpose. This year’s celebration marked the official launch of the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation’s new fundraising campaign, Re-Imagine Rehab, a transformative initiative to create a dedicated intensive rehabilitation unit at Lions Gate Hospital.
This future unit will centralize the expertise of rehab specialists, offering focused, specialized care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injuries, and musculoskeletal trauma — a life-changing advancement for more than 700 stroke patients who arrive at the hospital’s Emergency Department each year
The glamorous duo of Karen KhunKhun and Fiona Forbes hosted the event with style and the guests were captivated by a moving performance of renowned violinist Rosemary Siemens and singer Amanda Wood. The Foundation raised the remarkable total of $1,047,039 at the event presented by Craftsman Collision.
As the event’s raffle sponsor, Montecristo Jewellers was honoured to donate one of its most exquisite creations: an 18k white gold diamond bracelet featuring a graceful bypassing floral design, set with 40 brilliant-cut round diamonds (1.63 cts, VVS clarity, D-F colour) and 12 marquise-shaped diamonds (1.68 cts, VS clarity, G-H1 colour), with a total weight of 13.9 grams. The donation symbolizes our commitment to causes that truly make a difference and positively impact our community.
