Originally designed to provide safety under water, this SeaQ is equally at home on dry land and is a reliable companion for any adventure. Its 39.5 mm stainless steel case is available in two options: with a sapphire crystal case back or an engraved centrally screwed stainless steel case back. The engraving on it shows a trident, the brand’s double G logo and 20 waves, which stand for the water resistance of 20 bar.
The reed-green dial is elaborately crafted by hand and very easy to read even under difficult light conditions. The applied Arabic numerals and indexes are generously inlaid with Super-LumiNova®, as are the hour, minute and second hands. This ensures optimal legibility in the dark or when visibility is otherwise poor.
A variety of straps makes it possible to tailor the watch to suit one’s personal style: one may choose between a robust, flat stainless steel bracelet with an 8-step fine adjustment mechanism, a durable grey nylon mesh strap and a striking rubber strap with a relief pattern, in reed green or black.
The SeaQ takes inspiration from the first Glashütte diver’s watch, the “Spezimatic Typ RP TS 200” from 1969. The shape of the case with its polished facet is based on this historic model. The SeaQ combines history with modernity, taking up the original look of the Spezimatic and giving it a new and daring interpretation for the wearer in the 21st century.
