This mechanical men’s watch is presented in a polished and satin-brushed stainless steel case and measures 40 mm in diameter. It features an unmistakable and asymmetric dial design inspired by the laws of the Golden Ratio, the so-called “divine proportion”. This PanoMaticLunar is available with a choice of a dark blue Louisiana alligator leather strap, a robust blue synthetic fabric strap, or a stainless steel bracelet with fine adjustment mechanism.</p>
The galvanic blue dial presents applied silver indexes and white gold hands. A fine vinyl-type decorative pattern enhances the auxiliary dials for hour/minute and the small second, resulting in subtle reflections that change with the light. The use of white numerals on a dark blue ground renders the Panorama Date particularly rich in contrasts, while the silver-coloured moon phase display features a subtle tone-on-tone spectrum.
The moon disc for the silver-coloured moon phase display is also crafted in-house. As a first step, a milling machine is used to carefully cut out two moons, which gives them their wonderful convex shape. The surface is then polished with a diamond milling tool, giving them an unparalleled sheen. The silver of the star-studded night sky, on the other hand, is the result of an elaborate galvanic process.
The back of this elegant timepiece impresses with aesthetic perfection while offering fascinating views of the manufactory movement Calibre 90-02. The sapphire crystal case back reveals characteristic features and traditional decorative finishes, which are easy to recognize: the Glashütte three-quarter plate, a skeletonised off-centre rotor with the elegant Glashütte stripe finish, blued screws, polished steel components, and our signature duplex swan-neck fine adjustment.
